Termite treatment can be done thourgh many ways; chemicals, fumigating, bait, electricity, microwaves, and more. But commonly, chemical treatment is used. So how much does it cost to have termite treament done? It varies, but usually baits are more expensive. For chemical termite treatment, you can expect to see anywhere between $500 to $3,000 depending on the size of your house.
For example, you can expect to pay about $500 - $1,000 for a small house and $1,000 - $2,000 for a medium house and it can go up. But average price for a medium-sized house is around $1,300 - $2,500. I have a 900 square foot house and because two sides of my house is connected with other houses, I had Termidor applied on front and backyard only. It costed me about $400.
You will notice that a termite treatment professional you hired will ask you if you'd like to signup for yearly renewals as insurance. It will cost you anywhere between $150 - $300 for chemical treatment and $300 - $500 for baits. So before you signup for a termite control service, always compare with other companies and ask how much does termite control cost.

I live in down town Richmond, ca. Can you refer some reliable good termite control companies for me?
very appreciate for your help.
Hi Judy,
I wish I could, but I live in Virginia. One way to find a reliable termite control company is by Googling “Termite control richmond ca review” or just “termite richmond ca” and look for stars and review ratings from the customers.
termite treatment using termidor cost $ .68 a lin ft.This is a set price for the chemical to ALL profesional termite companies so when I Read somebody spent $400.00 for 2 sides of a 900 sq ft. house all I can say is—-Stupid
Dennis, so are you saying I should’ve paid him $50 for the entire treatment? I don’t think so. As a business man myself, I know I’m paying for his knowledge & experience & materials & time. I could’ve gotten a better deal, maybe a hundred dollar less, but the prices were about the same.
premise 75 cost (to professional)$.22 lin ft—
bait system–believe in tooth fairy? get to know your remodel carpenter first cus your going to need him–remember to READ all information handed to you by ANY TERMITE COMPANY..Check around and get bids based on the same treatment (in writing) est. Remember that cost of chemical is only small part of treatment–integrity and knowledge is what your paying for. A termite job is not just digging and puting chemical in a ditch–if you think that or worst bought that your screwed–
